Overview

The Inventory Control Coordinator will support the team in warehousing, inventory control, receiving, material handling, kitting, and cycle counting. This position reports to the Inventory Control Manager.

Responsibilities

1. Maintains and updates inventory records.
2. Collects daily warehouse activity data (metrics tracking).
3. Performs all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures.
4. Maintains records to accurately track damaged and/or lost items.
5. Conducts searches to locate products within the system, as necessary.
6. Investigates all inventory errors and ensures corrective measures to prevent discrepancies.
7. Prints and distributes Putaway Reports to Cycle Counters/Auditors daily.
8. Maintains accurate inventory records to help facilities detect shortages.
9. Maintains confidentiality of inventory records to authorized personnel.
10. Completes and issues all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
11. Performs duties as instructed by management.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
3. Experience with MS Office, Manhattan, SAP, Foursite, Exceed, or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Excellent customer service skills.
6. Detail-oriented.
7. Power material handling experience preferred.
8. Flexibility in adapting to changing environments.
9. Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
10. Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
11. Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
12. Ability to walk frequently in the distribution center, which may be over a quarter mile in length.
13. Ability to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations, and access all areas of the building without limitations.
14. Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
