Job summary

Peak Event Services in Woburn, MA is hiring an Inventory Coordinator to oversee daily transfers, maintain accurate stock, and ensure equipment readiness for regional fulfillment. The role partners with Inventory, Sales, and Operations to support busy event seasons and improve asset controls.

Based in our Woburn facility, you will input and manage transfers, maintain core inventory understanding, and report to the Inventory Manager.

Qualifications

  • Ability to collaborate with Inventory, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drafts, updates, manages, and oversees equipment transfers between company facilities.
  • Develops and maintains understanding of inventory transfer processes.
  • Monitors availability and fulfillment issues, coordinating with Sales, Fabrication, Transportation, and Inventory teams.
  • Performs regular audits and removes damaged equipment from inventory.
  • Monitors returned inventory and adjusts stock as needed.
  • Identifies items requiring re-order to balance losses.
  • Supports inventory control process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Provides ad-hoc inventory reports to management.

About the Job

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing inventory for Peak, ensuring that quality of equipment meets the Company’s standards, with a focus on inventory controls supporting day-to-day operations. This position requires flexible hours as needed. Will partner with inventory team, internal managers and departments to ensure that inventory is available regionally for short and medium term fulfillment needs. This role is based in our Woburn, MA facility.

The Inventory Coordinator will develop a thorough understanding of Peak’s Core inventory, and work with members of the management team to maintain an accurate internal inventory to meet client needs. This position is responsible for inputting, updating, and managing daily transfers of equipment between facilities and overseeing transfer process. This position reports directly to the Inventory Manager.

What You’ll Do
  • Drafts, updates, manages, and oversees equipment transfers between company facilities
  • Develops and maintains strong understanding of all processes related to inventory transfers
  • Monitors, assesses, and implements solutions to availability and fulfillment issues for inventory, collaborating with Sales, Fabrication, Transportation, and Inventory teams as needed
  • Monitors, audits, and regularly removes broken or damaged equipment from inventory
  • Monitors reporting on equipment returned to non-origin facilities and adjusts as needed
  • Identifies items requiring re-order as needed to balance regular asset loss
  • Employs, implements, and assists in developing inventory control processes and improvements to optimize accuracy, and operational and administrative efficiency
  • Supports Asset Reconciliation team to resolve issues or questions regarding missing inbound/outbound product as needed, via spot audit or other means
  • Provides ad-hoc inventory reports to management as needed
  • Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory
  • Assists with creation and maintenance of item SKUs and product catalog
  • Supports periodical full physical inventory audits
  • Attends meetings as needed
  • Travels to other facilities as needed
  • Works closely with maintenance, fabrication, and department team members to keep all inventory in good rental condition
  • Performs other related duties as requested
