Job summary

PEAK Event Services in Rhode Island is seeking a Driver/Mover to safely deliver and retrieve rental equipment for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. You will drive box trucks, load and unload gear, and help set up stages and dance floors, reporting to the Transportation Manager.

This seasonal role requires physical ability to lift 50 lbs plus, a valid driver’s license and DOT card, and weekend or night availability. Join a teamwork-driven crew that makes events shine.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Driver’s license and up-to-date DOT card.
• No current license suspension or revocation.
• Safe driving record / MVR.
• Prior experience driving box trucks.
• Able to pick up, lift, and move 50 lbs frequently.
• Willing to work weekends or nights.

Responsibilities

• Move and deliver all event equipment from warehouse to client locations.
• Safely drive box trucks and adhere to state and federal regulations.
• Select client orders, ensuring they are current and correct.
• Verify inventory being removed from client sites and communicate discrepancies.
• Set up and install equipment such as stages and dance floors.

About the Job

As a Driver/Mover, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and retrieval of rental equipment. The items handled will be used at the most exclusive events in the region, as well as the most important personal events marking milestones in private homes and yards. The position reports directly to the Transportation Manager.

Please note that this is a seasonal position.

What You’ll Do

• Move and deliver all event equipment from warehouse to client locations
• Safely drive box trucks and adhere to all state and federal regulations
• Select individual client orders, making sure they are current and correct
• Verify all inventory being removed from client sites and communicate any quantity or quality discrepancies
• Set up and install various pieces of equipment such as stages and dance floors
