N.F. Smith & Associates, L.P. is seeking an IT hardware technician to stage, test, repair, and catalogue electronic components such as servers and network equipment.
You will erase data from devices and reset them to factory specs for inbound products while maintaining ESD and quality standards. Responsibilities include updating purchase orders, meeting deadlines, and generating reports for the Operations supervisor.
Stage, organize, and process purchase orders in the Teardown area. Organize, test, troubleshoot, repair, and catalogue electronic hardware, including but not limited to servers, workstations, network equipment, computers and spare parts. Effectively erase previous customer data from storage devices and products, including resetting devices to original factory specifications on all inbound products. Provide updates to the status of purchase orders in process, and ensure the expeditious completion of all purchase orders. Meet all project deadlines and create various reports as needed, providing frequent status updates to the Operations supervisor and manager. Adhere to and maintain ESD requirements in all required work areas. Adhere to and maintain all quality, safety, environmental & recycling processes and policies. Assist Operations team and other departments as needed.
One or more of the following certifications: Certified Network Administration (CNA) Cisco Certified Network Administration (CCNA) A+ Certification Microsoft Certified System Administration (MCSA) Microsoft Technical Administration (MTA) Server+ Certification Network+ Certification
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively.
