Job summary

Medline Industries is seeking an inventory control associate at our Kansas City distribution center to ensure accurate records and resolve discrepancies.

You will perform cycle counts, reconcile variances, and make under-$500 adjustments in SAP or Catalyst. Strong Excel and SAP experience are required, with the ability to work with warehouse staff and operations management in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years inventory experience in a warehouse/distribution center.
• Experience with SAP inventory transactions and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Reconciles discrepancies and makes adjustments in Catalyst or SAP under $500.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse team members and operations management to resolve issues.
• Operate MHE as necessary and perform other duties as assigned.

Job SummaryThis position is responsible for ensuring that all inventory adjustments are reconciled to maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy within a Medline distribution center.Job DescriptionMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct cycle countsReconciles discrepancies as needed. Prior experience with SAP inventory transactions and expertise with enterprise/warehouse management systems.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:Intermediate skill level in SAP.Proficient skill in Microsoft OfficeIntermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).Ability to take direction, implement changes and adapt to changing business environment.Analytical and problem solving skillsPhysical Requirements:Lift up to 60 pounds. Sit, walk or stand for prolong periods of time. Display specific vision abilities including, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work in hot and cold environments, (32F – 95F). Ability to encompass heights. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
