Job summary

Actalent is hiring an Inventory Coordinator in Juliette, GA to act as the central link between customers, vendors, and lab personnel. You will manage equipment flow through calibration and repair, track shipments, and keep precise records in IndySoft and other systems.

This role emphasizes accurate data, timely updates, and strong cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has a background in inventory management, logistics, or related operations, with proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Experience using inventory, asset tracking, work order, shipping, or service management systems.
  • Ability to perform occasional physical work, including handling equipment and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the movement of equipment through calibration and repair workflows.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming equipment shipments.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory, asset, and work order records in tracking systems.
  • Scheduling and coordinating vendor calibration and repair services.
  • Tracking equipment status and updating customers and stakeholders.
  • Preparing equipment for shipment with packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Supporting customer inquiries regarding equipment status and service timelines.
  • Assisting with billing, invoicing, and operational reporting.
  • Building partnerships with vendors, customers, and laboratory teams to resolve issues.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and IndySoft for tracking.
  • Maintaining detailed records related to inventory, repairs, shipments, calibrations, and equipment history.
  • Balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Supporting shipping and receiving activities, including occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds.

Keep Critical Operations Moving

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by coordinating moving parts in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking an Inventory Coordinator to play a vital role in managing the lifecycle of specialized measuring and test equipment used across critical operational teams.

In this position, you'll serve as the central point of coordination between customers, vendors, and laboratory personnel, ensuring equipment is received, tracked, calibrated, repaired, and returned efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with backgrounds in inventory management, logistics, warehouse operations, asset management, maintenance coordination, customer service, or supply chain operations who enjoy solving problems and keeping processes running smoothly.

You'll gain exposure to equipment lifecycle management, operational reporting, vendor coordination, and customer support while making a direct impact on operational readiness and reliability.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinating the movement of equipment through calibration and repair workflows to ensure timely completion and delivery
  • Receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming equipment shipments
  • Maintaining accurate inventory, asset, and work order records in tracking systems
  • Scheduling and coordinating vendor calibration and repair services
  • Tracking equipment status and proactively communicating updates to customers and stakeholders
  • Preparing equipment for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation
  • Supporting customer inquiries regarding equipment status, service timelines, and repairs
  • Assisting with billing, invoicing, service documentation, and operational reporting
  • Building strong partnerships with vendors, customers, and laboratory teams to resolve issues and meet service commitments
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and asset-tracking systems such as IndySoft
  • Maintaining detailed records related to inventory, repairs, shipments, calibrations, and equipment history
  • Balancing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a dynamic operational environment
  • Supporting shipping and receiving activities, including occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Helping ensure critical equipment remains operational, compliant, and ready when needed
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Experience supporting inventory, logistics, warehouse, service, maintenance, or operational processes

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IndySoft or similar inventory, asset management, or tracking platforms
  • Asset lifecycle management, repair coordination, or vendor management experience
  • Billing, invoicing, or operational reporting experience
  • Background in manufacturing, utilities, fleet operations, maintenance, warehouse operations, or supply chain environments
  • Materials management or inventory control experience
  • Experience coordinating customer-owned equipment through repair, maintenance, calibration, or service programs
  • Familiarity with metrology, calibration, laboratory operations, or technical service environments
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Juliette, GA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
