Job summary

Blount Fine Foods Corp. is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for our Fall River, MA facility.

This role coordinates and verifies raw material movements to maintain daily inventory accuracy, guiding a small team to ensure timely processing of ingredients and adherence to allergen guidelines. The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of related inventory experience, with food manufacturing exposure and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Six months to one-year related inventory experience.
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and verify raw material movements to and from the warehouse.
  • Lead and train the inventory team to ensure accurate processing of ingredients.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy within the department.
  • Verify ingredients delivered to and returned from the prep area.
  • Record and verify inventory transactions throughout the shift.
  • Ensure allergen guidelines are followed and containment integrity.
  • Ensure accurate lot numbers and movements in the system.

HOURS ARE 10pm-finish

The pay range for this position is $17.00 to $17.43 per hour.

Summary: Responsible for the coordination and verification of raw material movements to and from the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy to the days needs during their designated shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for guiding, training, and leading the inventory team to ensure the accurate and timely processing of Division 7 manufacturing ingredients.
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy within the department.
  • Responsible for verifying ingredients delivered to and returned from the prep area.
  • Responsible for inventory transactions required throughout the shift.
  • Verify departmental Allergen guidelines are followed and ensure integrity of containment (IOC) of all ingredients throughout the material handling process.
  • Ensure the accuracy of lot numbers and movements in the system of materials.
  • Ability to lead, be a teacher, and create a positive work environment.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Six months to one-year related inventory experience
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent
