Job summary

Chick-fil-A Vine City is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records, order products, monitor stock levels, and keep inventories organized while supporting food safety and cost control. This full‑time role requires open availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ordering and receiving products, monitoring stock levels, and keeping inventory areas organized while supporting food safety, quality, and cost‑control standards.

This role is offered as a full‑time position. You must have an open availability. This means the ability to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Availability for Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities:

• Count and verify daily truck orders from partnering vendors
• Order inventory daily based on current stock levels and operational needs
• Perform daily spot counts to maintain accurate inventory records
• Input Shared Table donations accurately and on time
• Input waste accurately and on time
• Maintain and document store‑to‑store inventory transfers
• Ensure inventory areas are organized and cleaned
• Complete end‑of‑month inventory counts
• Obtain inventory when shortages occur
• Operate with a sense of urgency
• Adapt to change and resolve problems without disrupting the business
• Adhere to all restaurant policies
• Adhere to food safety and quality standards
• Assist with ensuring low food costs
• Assist with in‑store operations as required
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business, accounting, operations, or a related field is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 2-3 years inventory, receiving, restaurant operations, or related experience required
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Accurate with counts, data entry, and inventory records
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Be able to work a flexible schedule
• Have the ability to stand for at least 8 hours
• Be able to perform functions which require bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 40 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Available to work at least 40 hours a week
• Be available to work on weekends and holidays
