Qualifications

Job Purpose:

To provide Logistics services to internal and external customers.

Duties:
  1. Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
  2. Maintain cycle counts along with inventory adjustments as needed
  3. Maintain incoming and outgoing parts transactions and movements
  4. Partner and communicate with various departments
  5. Provide service for internal and external customers
  6. Keep and maintain designated Logistics area neat, clean, and orderly
  7. Properly stock/shelve aircraft parts in a warehouse environment
  8. Properly label, package, and box aircraft parts for inventory
  9. Be flexible to work in all aspects of inventory control area of responsibility and overall Logistics
  10. Process requisition forms in a timely manner and complete all associated reporting
  11. Maintain parts, tools, and paperwork compliant with AS9100, DCMA, Company, and other regulations
  12. Post parts to work orders
  13. Prepare parts claims
  14. Participate in on-call program
  15. Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred), and various company software programs; ERP experience preferred
  3. Ability to read and understand technical data for research purposes; knowledge of aviation terminology and standards is a plus
  4. Effective written and oral communication skills
  5. Ability to learn new processes and materials quickly
  6. Ability to work productively and efficiently without distraction in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  7. Ability to operate a forklift or obtain certification through the company
  8. Ability to adapt/respond appropriately to changing circumstances
  9. Physical ability to lift, balance, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.; stand for extended periods on concrete; work in harsh environmental conditions (extreme heat and cold)
