Job description

Join to apply for the Inventory Control Technician 3rd Shift role at Lineage.

Compile and maintain records of physical and virtual product inventories through activities such as cycle counting, claims management, and accounts administration within the facility. Manage data related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping products for/from the facility. Order shipping materials, supplies, and equipment to maintain inventory levels throughout the facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, and other related records.
• Compile data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports.
• Assess stock levels and determine needs for replenishment.
• Investigate damages, inventory adjustments, and shrinkage issues.
• Verify product accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and assist with physical inventories.
• Review stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorized substitutes, and other information to ensure shipping accuracy.
• Identify unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse material handling equipment in compliance with safety standards and policies.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer skills.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C or up to 100°F/37°C with appropriate PPE.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs., with potential for heavier weights depending on the facility.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends if required.
