Assist the DC Leadership Team as a working Lead by providing direction, guidance, and support in the daily operations of Inventory Control while maintaining inventory accuracy, process compliance, and associate development.
Perform Inventory Control tasks as necessary to support daily operational and productivity goals.
Assist in conducting daily startup meetings and communicate attendance concerns to leadership.
Train, coach, and develop associates on Inventory Control processes, procedures, and best practices.
Facilitate daily workflow by prioritizing research, audits, cycle counts, adjustments, and inventory-related tasks.
Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous process improvement to leadership.
Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, system issues, and process concerns, escalating unresolved issues as needed.
Review work for accuracy, inventory integrity, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Communicate associate development opportunities and performance observations to leadership.
Utilize GQ and related systems to research inventory discrepancies, validate transactions, monitor workflow completion, and ensure daily requirements are met.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, auditing, location management, research, and corrective actions.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
Conduct all Inventory Control operations safely and in compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and workplace safety standards.
Strong knowledge of Distribution Center operations and Inventory Control processes preferred.
Prior leadership, coaching, or team lead experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train, coach, and provide direction to associates.
Experience working in warehouse, inventory, or operations environments.
Experience with cycle counting, inventory research, auditing, and inventory accuracy initiatives preferred.
RF Scanner and Warehouse Management System experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. GQ experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and support operational needs as required.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds while performing daily duties.
