Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor in Southaven, MS to lead the distribution center's inventory control team and execute company policies. You will ensure accurate inventory, coordinate physical counts, and drive process improvements.

The role requires 3–5 years of leadership and 1–3 years in inventory control, with a focus on security, training, and collaboration with process leaders. Full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience required.
• 1–3 years of inventory control experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to all Inventory Control processes and ensure policy adherence.
• Supervise the distribution center inventory control team to improve performance.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control Process Leader to improve accuracy and safeguarding of inventory.
• Develop programs to maintain secure inventory and restrict access to authorized personnel.
• Ensure proper supervision and separation of duties to prevent theft or mismanagement.
• Coordinate scheduled physical inventories and maintain bin verification programs.
• Document customer-specific SOPs and obtain approval from VP Inventory Performance.
