Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking an Inventory Associate at the Southaven MS Distribution Center. The full-time role involves receiving, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation to ensure accurate stock levels. The position supports customer shipments and returns processing in a fast-paced healthcare supply environment.

Requires 1–3 years of inventory experience and ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. A comprehensive benefits package includes healthcare, education assistance, and retirement

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years inventory experience.
  • General knowledge of basic topics (math, reading, basic accounting). Reach lift, order picker lift, RF unit, printer, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies receiving receipts from accounts payable.
  • Performs cycle counts on RF units.
  • Researches inventory discrepancies and resolves them.
  • Performs customer service counts (customer shipments).
  • Maintains accurate inventory locations and moves inventory locations as required.
  • Checks, receives, breaks down, and separates incoming customer returns and returns to inventory.
  • Assembles, packs and ships manufacturer and/or vendor returns; initiates required debit memo.

The anticipated pay rate for this position is: $19.25/hr (For internal teammates, a compensation percentage increase will be reviewed and determined in partnership with HR, taking into consideration internal equity and relevant experience)

Responsibilities

  • Researches inventory discrepancies & resolves.
  • Performs customer service counts (customer shipments).
  • Maintains accurate inventory locations and moves inventory locations as required. Conducts product rotation according to Company policies and procedures.
  • Checks, receives, breaks down, and separates incoming customer returns and returns to inventory.
  • Assembles, packs and ships manufacturer and/or vendor returns; initiates required debit memo.
Experience/Requirements
  • 1-3 years of Inventory experience
  • General knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc. Reach lift, order picker lift, computer, RF unit, copier, inventory reports, accounts payable invoices, purchase orders, catalogs, printer, manuals.
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
