MILWAUKEE TOOL CORP seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor for 2nd shift to drive accuracy, cycle counts, and scheduling using WMS, RF scanners, and ERP systems.

You will lead a team, shape staffing, and ensure safety while improving picking and process efficiency. This role requires strong leadership and a hands-on approach to inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, strong work experience in place of a degree accepted.
• Experience with WMS/RF scanning and ERP systems.
• Proven leadership and supervision of teams in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to manage daily operations and activities in inventory control.
• Drive inventory accuracy and cycle counts, including shifts and payroll coordination.
• Recruit, hire, and develop staff; ensure proper staffing levels.
• Set schedules according to workload and act as back-up for Manager.
• Maintain communication on safety, production, and performance updates.

Your Role on Our Team

The Inventory Control Supervisor will assist the organization with inventory accuracy and tracking, item transition, allocation, demand planning and scheduling. The individual in this position will be responsible for supervising people conducting inventory functions including physical inventory, cycle counts, inventory adjustments, SKU relocation with utilizing a WMS, RF scanning and an ERP system. This position will help drive inventory accuracy, picking accuracy and efficiency by leading their team to manage the company’s inventory effectively.

• Leads a team to manage the day-to-day operations and activities of facilities and programs effectively and efficiently in an assigned area.
• Solicits feedback from Team Leads and Associate Supervisor related to performance and takes corrective action when needed.
• Leads in the recruitment, hiring, promoting, and terminating processes as needed.
• Works with manager to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Sets schedules according to workload
• Serves as a back-up in the absence of the Manager

• Fosters a high degree of morale among associates, including providing feedback, recognition, and rewards.
• Conducts or delegates or shift start-up meetings; communicates information related to culture, safety, production, accuracy, recognition, and facility/HR updates to keep team members informed
• Leads the performance review process and enters ratings in PEAK Speed

• Provides timely, ongoing communication ensuring the appropriate dissemination of information to team leads and associates within the area.
• Responsible for creating overall shift schedules and serving as back up for the Manager.
• Final payroll approver in Kronos

• Identifies measures that can improve various warehouse processes without the additional financial burden.
• Develops all employees to become a valuable part of the team to ensure their skills are at par with warehouse standards and regulations.
• Responsible for identifying and growing future team leaders within Milwaukee Tool.
• Provides formal and informal feedback on an ongoing basis and leads the annual performance evaluation process to identify and develop talent.
• Recommends employee corrective actions including recommendations for termination

• Bachelors of Business Administration or equivalent degree preferred, will accept strong work experience in place of a degree
• Experience working in inventory systems such as WMS systems, RF scan guns and ERP systems

Working Conditions

• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes
• Standing for long periods of time, as well as repetitive motion
• Operate manual pallet jacks (Operation of other equipment is a plus!)
• Able to work in various temperature conditions
• Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 70lbs
