Job summary

UNIS in Waddell, AZ is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to lead inventory control operations and teams, ensuring accurate recording and optimized processes. You will oversee cycle counts, troubleshoot issues, and develop new procedures with a focus on automated systems, data analysis, and continuous improvement.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives that optimize inventory capabilities and drive efficiency across the supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
  • Experience with supply chain, logistics or warehouse operations (min 3 years).
  • Proficiency with SAP/Oracle and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records and system accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot inventory issues and improve processes.
  • Develop new procedures to improve efficiency and automate processes.
  • Balance inventory across divisions using inventory systems.
  • Review and audit inventory reports.

Inventory Control Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-Time
Rate of Pay: $65,000 - $75,000/yr

We’re looking for an Inventory Contril Supervisor to join our team, where you’ll supervise inventory control operations and teams according to established policies. Follow standard procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Assist with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Utilize inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices.

Your Impact:
  • Ensure inventory is accurately recorded and tracked.
  • Assist inventory controller conduct daily/weekly/monthly cycle count and physical inventory count.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot inventory problems electronically.
  • Creates new procedures to become more efficient and to respond to business changes, heavy emphasis on automated processes.
  • Balance inventory between all divisions through inventory systems.
  • Review and audit inventory reports and inventory system.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred).
  • Proficiency in software like SAP, Oracle, or specialized inventory systems.
  • Ability to analyze data using tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software (e.g., Tableau).
  • Understanding of supply chain processes and methodologies like Just-In-Time (JIT).
  • Experience with process improvement techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Skills to resolve issues with inventory systems and technologies.
  • Minimum of Three (3) Years' work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehouse setting required.
