Inventory Control Supervisor (Administrative)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Optimize Stock Levels: Balance material availability with production schedules using lead-time data.
- Maintain Accuracy: Oversee real-time inventory tracking to ensure precise stock counts for all clients.
- Improve Tracking Systems: Develop and implement robust inventory monitoring systems to streamline warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with Operations: Proactively communicate stock levels, shortages, and order risks to production teams.
- Report Variances: Generate data-driven reports on inventory movements, cycle counts, and reconciliation variances.
- Inspect Inbound Material: Verify incoming inventory to confirm quality, accuracy, and immediate readiness for deployment or shipping.
- Standardize Procedures: Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for effective inventory control.
- Maintain Flexibility: Adapt to shifting manufacturing schedules by working flexible hours as operational needs dictate.

- Support Operational Needs: Execute additional related tasks and project assignments as required by management.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/ FUNCTIONAL SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES:
- Effective Communication: Active listening skills with the ability to collaborate clearly across departments.
- Technical Proficiency: Moderate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (GP Dynamics preferred).
- Results-Driven Execution: Track record of following operational directions and proactively delivering process solutions.
- Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills to manage high-volume daily tasks and meet production deadlines.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to pivot quickly and maintain efficiency during shifts in manufacturing priorities.
- Technical Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of tactical materials, fabric specifications, and product design construction.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Computer Experience
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Must have a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience
- Preferably High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred.
