They will also supervise inventory personnel, train them in inventory management, and work with other departments to optimize inventory processes. This position's regular schedule is Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm; however busier times of year may call for overtime. Shift hours would be 7am - 5pm if and when necessary for overtime. Occasional Saturday shift possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Management: Supervise inventory control team members, train them on inventory management practices, and evaluate their performance.
• Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular inventory audits, reconcile stock, and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement inventory control procedures, identify process improvements, and implement solutions.
• Coordination: Work with the warehouse, procurement, and other relevant departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
• Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, manage reorder points, and ensure products are available when needed.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate inventory reports, analyze data, and provide insights to management.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize inventory management software effectively.
• Forecasting and Planning: Support inventory planning and forecasting activities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control or a related field is a plus.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with agility.
• Forklift certified is a plus.
