Job summary

Shyft Global Services, a TD SYNNEX Company, in Mississippi is seeking a Logistics Associate to support inventory accuracy at the Logistics Center. The role uses a Warehouse Management System and various material handling equipment to maintain accurate counts and oversee shrink.

Shift is 5am-1:30pm with a $17/hr wage. Responsibilities include investigating discrepancies, updating systems, generating reports, and upholding quality standards while meeting attendance requirements.

Qualifications

• High School/G.E.D. required.
• Two years of experience with transaction-intensive warehouse management/inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
• Proficient with data entry and inventory control processes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and take corrective action to resolve.
• Investigate bin location variances and take corrective action to resolve.
• Research problem orders and receipts for the Logistics Center.
• Input data into Warehouse Management System, databases and reporting tools.
• Perform system entries to maintain inventory and bin accuracy (cycle counts, pick exceptions, bad box, lost bin, found bin, pick paths).
• Collect, maintain and provide detailed statistics and reports on performance measurements.
• Meet attendance and punctuality standards; perform additional duties as assigned.

About The Role

What You'll Do

• Investigates inventory discrepancies and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve.

Required Educational

• High School/G.E.D.

Previous Experience (Years & Type)

• Minimum of two years' experience working with transaction-intensive warehouse management / inventory systems in a high-volume facility.

Working Conditions

• Distribution center environment which includes exposure to work at varying heights; extreme temperatures; moderate and consistent noise levels, hot and dry or wet and/or humid conditions; and outside weather conditions.
• Ability to position oneself to meet physical demands of position.
• Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
• Be knowledgeable of all safety practices relating to welding processes.
• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
