Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator at our Georgia distribution operation. You will monitor and maintain the accuracy of inventories, compile records, and support efficient flow of products through our warehouse.

The role requires counting stock, reconciling discrepancies, preparing reports, and working in multi-temperature environments. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1+ year warehouse inventory experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to lift 10-35 pounds repeatedly and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computed figures from records.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and provides recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective/unusable items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
