Job summary

Performance Food Group in Lebanon, TN is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain accuracy and adequacy of inventories. The role involves counting stock, reconciling records, and preparing inventory reports across multi‑temperature environments.

You will monitor rotations, investigate discrepancies, and support a safe, efficient distribution process. Requires reliability, basic inventory experience, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3+ months inventory control or related warehouse experience.
• Ability to communicate information accurately.
• Stable work history with reliability.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, lift 10–35 pounds and often up to 60–90 pounds; work in multi-temperature environments.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and background check

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computed figures.
• Verifies computations and investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials and supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and surveys defective items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
