Job summary

ESAB Corporation in Denton, Texas is seeking a hands-on Inventory Control Associate to drive accuracy and efficiency in the Distribution Center. You will execute critical inventory tasks, support receiving and put-away, and train team members on inventory processes.

Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, you will conduct audits, investigate variances, manage audits for compliance, and generate reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking required.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience with RF guns.
• Heavy order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Prior Inventory Control experience preferred.
• Forklift experience (reach truck, order picker, electric pallet jack) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular reconciliation of physical inventory and system records.
• Investigate variances, root causes, and discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor inventory locations for proper storage, identification, and traceability.
• Execute inventory adjustments in SAP or other warehouse management systems following procedures.
• Support receiving, put-away, replenishment, and transfers to ensure material availability.
• Analyze inventory trends and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Assist with annual physical inventory counts and audits.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Customer Service, Production, and Logistics to resolve inventory-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, ISO, FDA, UL or other applicable requirements.
