Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts distribution center in Kansas City, MO, seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to uphold inventory integrity and support efficient operations. Qualifications

• Maintain accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and adjustments.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in the WMS and receiving processes.
• Perform monthly and quarterly inventory checks and batch receipt adjustments.
• Follow safety, quality procedures and communicate issues to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform order adjustments, repicks, inventory transfers, inventory adjustments, and quantity corrections to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Monitor, research, and resolve allocation, receiving, stocking, and inventory discrepancies within the warehouse management system and Problem Resolution programs.
• Research and correct item number, location, receiving, and keying errors by comparing physical inventory against system inventory.
• Conduct daily audits of outbound parcels, inbound license plates, damage locations, and warehouse inventory to verify inventory numbers.
