WarehouseQuote is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for in-person work at our Kansas City office. You will safeguard client inventory through detailed reconciliation, reporting, and proactive communication across internal teams and external partners.

You will use WHQ Portal, Footprint by Datex, Jira, Zendesk, and Excel to monitor activity, investigate discrepancies, and drive process improvements. Strong attention to detail and Excel proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Comfortable working across multiple systems: WHQ Portal, Footprint by Datex (WMS), Jira Business, Zendesk.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly inventory reconciliations reviewing WHQ WMS, partner WMS, shipments, and adjustments.
• Identify discrepancies and investigate root causes; propose corrective actions.
• Analyze trends to support preventative process improvements and reduce variances.
• Own investigations from identification to resolution within WHQ's control and escalate when needed.
• Communicate findings clearly to internal teams and clients; maintain documentation in Zendesk and related systems.
• Use WHQ Portal, Footprint by Datex, Jira Business, and Excel to review activity and generate reports.
