Job summary

The Employee Connect is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator in Vernon Hills, IL to own inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and data-driven insights. This role requires attention to detail, system savvy, and proactive problem solving to maintain reliable inventory levels.

You will work with receiving, fulfillment, and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory movements and reporting. This position is onsite at our Vernon Hills facility with a focus on accuracy under volume."

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations experience in distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute daily and weekly cycle counts across all product categories and locations.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies identified through cycle counts, audits, and variances.
• Maintain real-time inventory accuracy by updating records in the WMS and recording movements.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management, highlighting variance trends and completion rates.
• Coordinate with receiving to ensure inbound shipments are processed and reflected in inventory on time.
• Work with fulfillment and shipping to address inventory-related order exceptions.
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring variances and propose process improvements.
• Support annual physical counts and period-end reconciliations across departments.
