Job summary

Peterson-Farms, Inc. in Akron, OH is seeking a Material Control Specialist to manage the storage, receiving and distribution of Raw Product for Production. You will own daily inventory counts, perform cycle counts and ensure GMP and Food Safety adherence.

You will collaborate with warehouse, planning and plant teams, enter data for KPI reporting and improve inventory processes to mitigate losses. Strong analytical and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management preferred.
• Experience with Production Scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own daily inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Investigate and resolve shortages, damages, or rejections.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and inconsistencies.
• Scan product dumps to Production Runs and verify data in Parity Factory.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Planning, Raw Receiving and Plant Management.
• Enter data to support KPI tracking and reporting.
