Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Bowie, MD is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk (Part Time) to execute departmental inventory counts, process damaged/defective merchandise, and coordinate vendor returns. You’ll help reduce losses and maintain accurate stock levels in a fast-paced club environment.

You’ll collaborate across departments, follow safety and policy standards, and support friendly, efficient member service while upholding GOLD club standards and safe, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers and basic math.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Execute department inventory counts and control counts as prescribed.
• Process damaged/defective and returned merchandise; obtain vendor return authorizations.
• Re-wrap sellable merchandise with proper packaging; maintain clean and organized department.
• Support club policies, procedures, and safety standards; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
