Jabil is seeking an Inventory Control professional to monitor inventory levels, traceability, and to identify, classify, and root-cause inventory inaccuracies. You will provide feedback and potential solutions to the manager to eliminate discrepancies.

This role requires monitoring material transactions, resolving discrepancies, and recommending changes to prevent future issues. Flexibility for overtime and collaboration across plant functions is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to groups of managers and clients.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Advanced PC skills including Windows OS and related software.
• Proficiency with Jabil's software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.
• Ability to apply common sense to basic instructions.
• Ability to handle standard situations with minimal variables.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos.
• Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material transactions for assigned areas.
• Identify, resolve, and find root causes of discrepancies.
• Recommend changes to reduce future inaccuracies.
• Overtime as needed; support material handling and other inventory roles.
• Eliminate manufacturing downtime in their area.
• Perform regular component cycle counts.
• Record inventory transactions and generate reports as needed.
• Assist in implementing materials management systems to improve control.
• Coordinate with supervision, engineering, PM, and other plant functions.
• Follow safety, health, and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
