Job summary

SanMar in Sparks, NV is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, aisle verification and slotting in Lo-bay and High Bay. The role uses High Jump and RF scanners and requires operation of powered lift equipment with adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of warehouse experience, plus the ability to read labels, count accurately, and communicate with the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years warehouse experience.
• Read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels and SKUs.
• Basic math skills required.
• Lift Operator Certification every three years.
• Familiarity with High Jump basics.
• Strong accuracy and teamwork.
• Follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Work well in fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Flexible to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow slotting plans to locate product in Lo-bay and Slow Bay.
• Use High Jump to perform inventory audits and aisle maintenance.
• Correct discrepancies such as damaged product and incorrect LPNs.
• Complete cycle counts in High Bay and Lo-bay using the RF scanner.
• Ensure data entered into High Jump is accurate.
• Communicate daily with leadership and coworkers to manage inventory.
• Operate powered lift equipment to move product and materials as needed.
• Maintain a safe, neat work area per safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
