Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join our warehouse team. You will support daily shipping tasks, track stock, and ensure safety and organization in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED with warehouse experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP. Forklift experience is preferred; ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work overtime as needed is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 months Zeiss IQS warehouse/shipping experience or related experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Understanding of basic lean principles desired.
• Data entry, touch-screen device and computer skills required.
• Must be organized, detail oriented, self-starter and problem solver.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• SAP experience and forklift operation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of tools required to perform tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area following 5S methodology.
• Learn to operate forklifts, power jacks, and manual pallet jacks.
• Communicate professionally with departments, drivers and vendors.
• Track warehouse stock and maintain inventory methodology.
• Utilize SAP in relation to duties and follow supervision guidelines.
• Flexibly cover different positions within the area during shortages.
