Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc. in Faribault, MN is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist II to monitor weekly inventory trends, inspect materials to specifications, and support building quality products for market demands.

You will train staff, assist with calibrations and inspections, and generate reports to analyze results and drive improvements. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred, with 2–4 years of related experience.

• Assist to determine controls necessary to maintain consistent quality level.
• Assist to direct repairs and deviated corrections as required.
• Assist to generate inspection reports and analysis.

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitor, review and analyze weekly inventory trends and discusses variations with appropriate staff members.
• Provide basic support to efficiently build quality products and meet market demands.
• Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing material, parts, and assemblies to specifications and blueprints following standard shop practice and/or special instructions.
• Train other employees in day to day procedures.
• Perform specific calibrations, specific tests, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and records the results.
• Assist to determine controls necessary to maintain consistent quality level.
• Assist to direct repairs and deviated corrections as required.
• Assist to generate inspection reports and analysis.

Your Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate degree in a related field preferred
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience

The typical hourly base pay for this position ranges from $21.25 to $33.97 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
