Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas in Faribault, MN is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist II on-site to monitor and analyze weekly inventory trends, inspect materials, and support production quality.

You will train staff, perform calibrations and inspections, and help determine controls to maintain quality, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, and tuition reimbursement. Typical hourly pay ranges from $21.25 to $33.97 in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a related field preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review and analyze weekly inventory trends and discuss variations with appropriate staff members.
• Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing material, parts, and assemblies to specifications and blueprints.
• Train other employees in day to day procedures.
• Perform specific calibrations, tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations.
• Assist to determine controls necessary to maintain a consistent quality level.
• Assist to direct repairs and deviated corrections as required.
• Assist to generate inspection reports and analysis.

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitor, review and analyze weekly inventory trends and discusses variations with appropriate staff members. Provide basic support to efficiently build quality products and meet market demands.
• Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing material, parts, and assemblies to specifications and blueprints following standard shop practice and/or special instructions.
• Train other employees in day to day procedures.
• Perform specific calibrations, specific tests, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and records the results.
• Assist to determine controls necessary to maintain consistent quality level.
• Assist to direct repairs and deviated corrections as required.
• Assist to generate inspection reports and analysis.

Your Qualifications:

The typical hourly base pay for this position ranges from $21.25 to $33.97 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
