Job summary

Generac is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I to track inventory and stock changes within a distribution setting. You will ensure accurate part quantities and proper locations in the inventory system, and support inspections, record-keeping, and discrepancy adjustments.

Based in a warehouse environment, you will collaborate with management to recommend improvements and ensure smooth daily operations, including use of SAP for counts and adjustments, and maintenance of accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months experience in a manufacturing or similar environment with inventory control.
• Knowledge of SAP cycle count processes.
• Ability to operate and drive equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and become proficient in powered warehouse equipment.
• Look up products and identify missing inventory.
• Research missing inventory locations and correct system errors.
• Perform daily cycle counts and adjust records.
