Job summary

Leupold & Stevens, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist 1 in Beaverton, OR. The role focuses on maintaining accurate warehouse inventory and ensuring timely delivery to assembly lines.

You’ll work Monday–Thursday, 4:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with a starting base rate of $20.00/hour. Benefits include health/dental insurance, training, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) contributions.

Qualifications

• One or more years of material handling, assembly, or other relevant experience.
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with general material handling processes.
• Ability to read and write alphanumeric sequences and perform basic math.
• Working knowledge of FIFO practices.
• Ability to work with all team members and adapt to groups.
• Continuous improvement mindset and strong communication.
• Attendance, punctuality and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory within Assembly to pass demand signals to planning and purchasing.
• Provide components and supplies to assembly lines to maximize production.
• Escalate issues to leadership; mitigate quality risks on hand.
• Execute inventory delivery systems and evolve to improve throughput.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and basic material transactions.
• Assist ME Techs with isolation of defective material.
• Support Kanban replenishment by delivering bins.
