Job summary

Leupold & Stevens, located in Beaverton, OR, is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist 1. This role runs Monday through Thursday, 4:45 AM to 3:15 PM with a starting base rate of $20.00 per hour.

You will maintain inventory, support assembly lines, and escalate issues to leadership to ensure smooth production. The position requires basic Excel skills and at least a year of material handling or related experience, with a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• One or more years of material handling, assembly, or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with general material handling processes.
• Ability to read and write alphanumeric sequences and perform basic math.
• Working knowledge of FIFO practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory within Assembly, ensuring accurate demand signals pass to planning and purchasing.
• Work within a designated sphere to maximize production by providing all necessary components to the assembly lines.
• Proactively escalate issues to leadership.
• Mitigate quality risks by ensuring only needed parts are available to the line at any time.
• Execute current inventory delivery systems and helps evolve them to maximize throughput.
• Conduct regular cycle counting activities and process basic material transactions.
