The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best.Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Plymouth, MN – onsiteYour Responsibilities:Inventory Control & Warehouse OperationsPerform daily cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracyManage inventory procedures and transactions on a daily basisDocument inventory adjustments and obtain approvals in accordance with the company's Level of Authority (LOA)Review historical inventory transactions to identify and resolve inventory discrepanciesMonitor, review, and analyze weekly inventory trends and discuss variations with appropriate staff membersMaintain inventory accuracy within the Fluke x5 CMMS systemCommunicate cycle count findings, discrepancies, and inventory issues to management and warehouse team membersInspect warehouse racks for damage and overall organizationDispose of rejected, surplus, obsolete, and scrap materialsEnsure disposal of hazardous waste complies with all applicable regulations, and documentation requirements is given to EHSCoordinate with lab personnel to ensure shipping and receiving of components to support testingUtilize lean manufacturing principlesQuality & InspectionInspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing materials, parts, and assemblies to specifications and blueprints following standard shop practices and special instructionsPerform specific calibrations, tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record resultsAssist in determining controls necessary to maintain consistent quality levelsAssist in directing repairs and corrective actions for non-conforming materialsGenerate inspection reports and analysisShipping, Receiving & Customer SupportShip and receive parts and equipmentManage UPS shipping activitiesCoordinate with laboratory personnel to support the shipment and receipt of testing componentsEnsure timely service and support for internal and external customersTraining & Continuous ImprovementTrain employees on day-to-day inventory and warehouse proceduresUtilize lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and accuracyMaintain 5S organizational principles throughout the warehouse and inventory areasMaintain good housekeeping and cleanliness standardsEnsure all stored materials comply with Daikin safety requirements, including clearance from emergency exits, fire extinguishers, electrical panels, and other EHS requirementsYour Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED2+ years of total work experience with 1 year of related experienceYour Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processesExperience using inventory management, ERP, CMMS, or warehouse management systemsKnowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehouse best practicesAbility to read specifications, blueprints, and technical documentationStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExperience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsYour Benefits:Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance401K retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and company paid holidaysPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local lawTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $19.38 per hour to $30.85 per hour in Minnesota.
