John F. Kennedy International Airport is seeking an Inventory Specialist to execute inventory control procedures across retail operations at the airport. You will ensure accurate stock tracking, support supply chain operations, and minimize shrink through diligent inventory execution.

The role requires 2+ years in inventory management or related fields, with proficiency in SAP and strong attention to detail. This is an on-site position with flexible scheduling to cover counts and operations.

Qualifications

• Education and experience must exceed 3 years.
• In a technical role: requires 2+ years of inventory management, warehouse operations, or retail stock control experience.
• Bachelor's degree can count for 1 of the 3 year requirement.
• In the industry: 1-3 years of retail operations, inventory management or warehouse operations preferred.
• Specialized training: SAP.
• Knowledge of retail safety and inventory control procedures.
• Training in basic inventory control procedures and loss prevention awareness.
• Working knowledge of inventory management software (SAP) and basic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Executes inventory tracking using SAP to support operations and accuracy across locations.
• Analyses inventory discrepancies and reconciles reports for supervision.
• Communicates inventory status updates to warehouse personnel and processes returns.
• Assists in ordering supplies based on analysis and sales data.
• Supports planogram execution and product placement activities.
• Performs physical counts and monitors stock levels and turnover rates.
• Ensures compliance with company policies across locations.
