Job summary

Carmi Wholesale Distributors is seeking a motivated Inventory Control Associate to move, store, and replenish inventory using powered equipment in a fast-paced warehouse. The role partners with warehouse teams to keep accurate counts and ensure items are in the right location for efficient order fulfillment.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience, can obtain recertification, and pays close attention to detail. Basic computer skills and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Must obtain forklift recertification via company training.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn WMS.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Perform inventory replenishment for picking locations.
• Move products to/from reserve storage locations.
• Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts as assigned.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Verify product locations, quantities, item information.
• Assist with receiving and put-away activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS.
• Identify damaged products and report inventory issues.
• Support warehouse operations during peak periods.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
