Job summary

Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy, cost data, and par levels. You will reconcile daily transactions, support purchase requests, and collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, Warehouse, F&B, and accounting to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency with Stratton Warren and Excel. Experience in Food & Beverage operations is a plus; HS diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of inventory control, warehousing, purchasing, receiving, Food & Beverage operations, or related accounting work preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Stratton Warren strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to prepare, review, and reconcile inventory data.
• Ability to research discrepancies, analyze transaction activity, and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate item, vendor, location, unit-of-measure, pricing, and cost information in Stratton Warren.
• Review and update inventory par levels based on usage and demand to support purchase requests.
• Process, review, and validate receipts, transfers, requisitions, returns, adjustments, and physical inventory entries.
• Monitor transactions and interfaces; research exceptions and errors and assist with corrections.
• Reconcile purchases, receipts, transfers, and adjustments with invoices and supporting records.
• Assist with month-end inventory reconciliation and COGS reporting.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, Warehouse, and accounting to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts and participate in physical inventories.
• Identify unusual activity and communicate findings to management.
• Prepare routine inventory and variance reports for management review.
