Job summary

Staffworks, Inc. is seeking a reliable Inventory Control Clerk in New York to maintain accurate inventory records and support production readiness. The role involves data entry in Deacom ERP, cycle counts, and reconciling inventory discrepancies.

This full-time, first-shift position offers consistent hours and weekly pay. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in inventory management, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of inventory management experience.
• Experience with cycle counting and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP systems (Deacom preferred).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in Deacom ERP.
• Enter and verify inventory data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Close production jobs and work orders daily.
• Support inventory transfers between locations to ensure production readiness.
• Record and reconcile inventory transactions for third-party tolling companies.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortages.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, turnover, and key metrics.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to maintain smooth inventory flow.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations.
