WebstaurantStore is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure data accuracy between internal systems and physical counts. You will collaborate across departments to identify issues and present proactive solutions, while working independently within a warehouse setting.

The role involves conducting cycle counts, adjusting inventory in the ERP system, and supporting safe, efficient warehouse operations. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for distribution experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in distribution/warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Proficiency with MS Office is preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Run reports to identify potential inventory issues, investigate and resolve problems.
• Search for inaccuracies such as misplaced stock during weekly cycle counts.
• Complete inventory adjustments based on physical counts using ERP system.
• Use forklift equipment to replenish pick bins with overstock product.
• Identify and process damaged inventory to maintain accurate levels.
• Ensure misplaced items are returned to correct bin locations.
• Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to maintain a safe environment.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy and quality of work.
• Support daily operations and adapt to department needs as required.
