WebstaurantStore is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure data accuracy between internal systems and physical counts. The role collaborates across departments to identify issues and present proactive solutions for customers, while working efficiently across teams.

The position emphasizes precise inventory adjustments, forklift-assisted replenishment, and safe operation of warehouse equipment to support daily goals and overall operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• This role does not require a degree.

Responsibilities

• Run various reports to identify potential inventory issues and resolve problems.
• Search for inaccuracies and errors during weekly cycle counts.
• Complete inventory adjustments based on count differences and ERP research.
• Use forklift equipment to replenish pick bins with overstock.
• Identify and process damaged inventory to maintain accurate levels.
• Ensure misplaced items are returned to correct bin locations.
• Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report hazards.
