The Inventory Control role ensures accurate tracking of cannabis inventory in compliance with state regulations, uses Google Sheets and regulatory software, performs weekly audits, and coordinates with fulfillment teams to maintain orderly records and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Control inventory movement physically and via compliance software.
• Conduct weekly physical audits of source and end products.
• Intake purchased product into the facility.
• Condense and organize lots to maintain inventory.
• Provide product to Fulfillment and Automation teams as needed.
• Audit lots processed through fulfillment and returned to inventory.
• Update lotting sheets and tote stickers to reflect product per tote.
• Keep all trackers updated and within deadlines.
• Maintain organized and clean inventory rooms.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

The Role

Inventory Control is responsible for managing cannabis product and packaging inventory in compliance with Washington State regulations. This role ensures accurate tracking of inventory movement through close coordination with the fulfillment team, timely updates to state-mandated compliance software, and diligent maintenance of internal databases. Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and database management is required to reconcile inventory records, identify discrepancies, and support regulatory reporting. Regular manual audits are conducted to verify system accuracy. Attention to detail, organizational discipline, and clear cross-department communication are essential, as maintaining precise inventory records is critical to regulatory compliance and the overall health of the business.

Responsibilities

• Control inventory movement throughout the facilities physically and with compliance software; including, but not limited to, initial input of harvested product, fulfillment processing, and sales processing
• Conduct physical audits of source and end products on a weekly basis
• Intake purchased product that comes into the facility
• Condense and/or combine lots as much as possible to maintain organization of inventory
• Provide Fulfillment and Automation teams with product as needed including trim team, preroll team, and packaging team
• Auditing lots that are processed through the fulfillment and are returned to inventory to make sure that the lots are accurate
• Update lotting sheets and tote stickers so they accurately reflect product per tote
• Update all trackers accurately and within deadlines required
• Keep the Inventory rooms organized and clean
• Perform all other duties as necessary and any additional duties assigned by your supervisor/manager

Requirements

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Have a strong service and quality focus. Address issues effectively when problems arise and take initiative to understand root cause, then communicate / educate team in a timely manner
