Newly Weds Foods- Corporate in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to assist the Inventory Coordinator in managing all inventory items in the plant.

The role focuses on daily inventory adjustments, cycle counts, month-end reconciliations, and ensuring accurate received ingredients. Strong communication and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe are required, with a 1st shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year experience in purchasing, inventory control, or related discipline.
• Proficient in Adobe applications, Microsoft Office, and Lotus Notes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily inventory adjustments.
• Assist in balancing monthly inventories.
• Assist in cycle counts of ingredients and packaging.
• Assist with month-end inventory reconciliation processes.
• Verify received ingredients for item number, amount, QC approval and pricing.
• Prepare purchase orders for procurement of materials.
• Organize and maintain inventory documentation.
• Perform office support tasks such as certified letters and file retention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
