Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to support inventory tasks in a Northlake distribution center. You will operate material handling equipment to move stock and ensure accurate inventory records. The role involves cycle counts, adjustments, and assisting with proper inventory placement.

The position emphasizes accuracy, adherence to internal controls, and readiness to perform general warehouse duties as needed within a comfortable indoor environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in inventory control or related areas.
• Experience operating material handling equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory in the distribution center; record received and stocked merchandise.
• Complete and review cycle counts; adjust inventory as needed.
• Audit inventory to ensure alignment with daily order processing.
• Resolve inventory issues, discrepancies, and adjustments per internal controls.
• Assist with proper placement of inventory based on size and selling volume.
• Assist with loading damaged merchandise into delivery vehicles using material handling equipment.
• Maintain quality and inventory control manuals; perform general warehouse duties as needed.
