Job summary

Samson Rope Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to ensure accuracy of inventory across multiple warehouses. The role involves cycle counts, researching discrepancies, and recommending improvements to inventory practices.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with Syspro and Microsoft Office, and able to communicate clearly with a diverse team. Responsibilities include receiving and documenting deliveries, adjusting the ERP system, and preparing regular inventory reports.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a warehouse environment with inventory control.
• Experience with ERP systems (Syspro preferred) and ability to write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation; compare against packing lists and resolve shipment problems.
• Trace item history from cycle counts to identify discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
• Perform ERP adjustments to maintain inventory accuracy and input data.
• Use cycle count procedures to count and reconcile items daily.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and on time.
• Prepare cycle count reporting documents and monthly inventory analysis.
