Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corp. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist B to support shop floor production, handle material movements, and maintain accurate inventory records. The role requires using SAP for material movements, moving items between areas, and preparing required paperwork.

You will operate lifting equipment, assist with material handling, and may work 1st/2nd/3rd shifts or overtime in a union environment. A valid driver’s license and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent and 12 months related experience.
• Prior warehousing experience.
• Prior experience operating a forklift.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Candidates must be able to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or weekend shift per the union agreement.
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Responsibilities

• Support shop floor production and perform duties to load/unload, store, issue and deliver materials while maintaining inventory reports.
• Collect materials, tools, and blueprints for parts, assemblies, or tools from stores.
• Move materials between locations and read work orders for the next operation.
• Operate lifting/loading equipment and use hand/power tools as needed.
• Use SAP to make material movements and maintain records/logs.
• Prepare paperwork and verify material against documentation required for duties.
