Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist B in Grand Prairie, TX, to support shop floor production by loading/unloading, storing, issuing, and delivering materials while maintaining accurate inventory reports. You will use SAP for material movements and handle a range of tools and parts in a union environment with first through third shift rotations.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent plus twelve months related experience required.
• Prior warehousing experience.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift per CBA.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• U.S. Citizen due to facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support shop floor production: load/unload, store, issue and deliver materials while maintaining inventory reports.
• Collect materials, tools and blueprints required for a part, assembly or tool.
• Handle materials including loading/unloading, storage, issue, and work order transfers.
• Operate lifting/loading equipment and use hand/power tools and saws.
• Use SAP to move materials and track status.
• Move completed items between locations per work order.
• Assist in movement of work in their area.
• Arrange materials within racks, bins and shelves for efficient storage.
• Prepare and complete necessary paperwork.
• Use PC to check status and location of parts.
• Originate and maintain required records and logs.
• Verify materials against documentation.
• Move items between locations with appropriate equipment.
• May handle hazardous materials.
