Job summary

Blue Ocean Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist (Chinese is preferred) in Irving, TX to manage inventory records and coordinate counts across multiple warehouses. The role supports purchasing processes and requires basic CRM or procurement familiarity.

Ideal candidates hold an associate or bachelor's degree and are proficient with MS Office or Google Suite. Travel to company warehouses will be part of the job to audit inventory.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Administration, Communications, or related field).

Responsibilities

• Track and maintain accurate inventory records across multiple locations.
• Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate cycle counts and monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts.
• Review inventory movement and usage to prevent shortages and overstock.
• Work with warehouse and operations teams to resolve inventory issues.
• Maintain documentation for inventory transfers and adjustments.
• Support inventory-control and purchasing process improvements.
• Travel regularly to company warehouses to audit inventory and verify compliance.
• Perform other purchasing- and inventory-related duties as assigned.

Education
