Job summary

Up North Plastics is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for our Shipping department on the 7AM-3PM shift. The role involves monitoring and storing inventory, resolving discrepancies, and processing orders with associated documents. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include receiving, unpacking, delivering goods, and performing cycle counts to ensure timely and accurate inventory accounting. Benefits include Medical/Dental, paid vacations and holidays, ESST, and 401(K).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
• Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Exceptional attention to detail, and accurately document information.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic math skills are needed
• Strong computer literacy.
• Strong communication and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, store, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Process orders and related documents, transfer orders, and staging of material.
• Return of material and performing cycle counts to ensure accurate accounting.
• Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; adjust errors in the system.
