Job summary

Family Dollar in Ashley, Indiana, is hiring for a 3rd Shift position from 8:00 pm to 6:30 am, Mon-Thurs with OT as needed. Compensation starts at $17 per hour plus a $2 shift differential.

The role involves DC allocation, inventory verification, and various supply chain tasks within a climate-controlled environment. Requirements include a high school diploma (preferred) and 4–6 months of clerical or similar warehouse experience; basic MS Office and Windows skills; WMS knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school preferred.
• Experience: Four to six months clerical or similar work in Retail/Distribution/Warehouse preferred; basic Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows; WMS knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assigns pick locations for maximum optimization.
• Performs DC allocation and reconciles receiving documents to reports.
• Verifies inventory locations and resolves issues across bust-out, stock decks, pick slots, cycle counts, and transfers.
• Data entry and report updates; verifies and releases breakdowns.
• Counts locations and audits operations per management requests.
• Processes merchandise returns to vendor; re-ticket/re-package when instructed.
• Completes PIT checklist and ensures equipment safety; operates PIT equipment.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to safety procedures; promotes a safe work environment.
• Follows Company policies; performs other duties as assigned.
